Justus Gibbs
Justus is a cowboy, nothing more. He's had no schooling to speak of and can only read a few common words, but that doesn't mean he's stupid. Since he was nine he has been working with horses or cows, and there was never time for luxuries like school, and besides, his father didn't hold much respect for that sort of learning.
Tall and lanky, at 22 Justus tends to slump a little and just about everything in his appearance speaks casual, even the lanky pinto gelding he affectionately calls 'Mule'.
But hazel-green eyes watch everything with alert keenness, and when the situation calls for it, he can respond with deadly swiftness, almost as if he's had practice...
