LET IT BEND BEFORE IT BREAKS [style=text-align:center; color: cccccc; font-size:9px; text-transform:uppercase; font-family:arial narrow; letter-spacing:1px; border-bottom: 2px solid #756C66; padding-bottom: 10px;]JAMES CASSIDY /// TWENTY SEVEN /// GUNSMITH & GUNNERY OWNER /// SINGLE FRIENDSHIPS /// james has many acquaintances, though not everyone can be considered a friend. the ones he does have, however, are usually long lasting. he does his best to watch out for those he cares for, and without any family left, friends are important. he has even been known to valiantly put himself in the line of danger for others. he very loyal, and won't let anyone he respects down if he can help it. still, that doesn't mean he can't mess up from time to time. generally, he's a good person to know and have on your side.
ENEMYSHIPS /// enemies aren't anything new to james, hell, even he would have even considered his own father as an enemy. he doesn't take to being wronged very well, and often holds grudges, but getting off of his black list is indeed achievable with effort. still, james isn't the kind of guy you want to anger, because he's the kind of guy who literally cannot back down from a fight - and though he might not be the one who started it, he can definitely finish it.
LOVESHIPS /// this is the one area where james is a little bit less committed than most women would like. he has fears of turning into his father, and therefore never liked to get close to anyone romantically. he's afraid of winding up like his father did, but he hasn't given himself much of a chance to even try.
OTHERSHIPS /// there are plenty of other relationships that james could have. feel free to post here and we can work something out!
RELATIONSHIPS /// name - relationship

Hmm, not sure about whether they'd be friends, but I think Jonah Arkken could definitely have a need to come to Cassisy for a new gun. Though maybe Cassidy would recognise in Arkken the recklessness of his father or even understand Arkken's need to follow through with his vendetta, seeing that like Cassidy Arkken can't back down from a (well for Arkken this particular) fight with Weldon Campbell.
As for Campbell. not sure what relationship the two might have. Though perhaps running a large ranch and with so many hands in employment, Weldon might have cause to use Cassidy's services and purchase guns for the ranch. And Cassidy might see through Weldon's 'civility' knowing a bully when he sees one.

He would have been able to help Jonah pick out a good gun, and if he knows anything about Jonah more than being a customer in the store, he'd understand vendettas (especially those that are familial). James and his father did not get along either. Perhaps at some point they'd be able to get to know each other more.
James is a good judge of character, and so he usually sees the true side of people despite the mask they might put on. With Weldon, as you said, this might be the case, though James would always serve a paying customer. Don't expect him to get bullied down on prices though, hah.

Cool Haden (This is also Weldon!)
Enid Knox being a good and Christian neighbour (read nosey and judgemental) would of course be full of well meaning interest in young James Cassidy and whatever business he gets up to. She probably doesn't approve whole heartedly with the whole gunsmithing thing but she admires him for his honest work and labour. Like James, she is a long time residence of Del Fuego so they would probably well know of each other - she might have watched from afar as he grew up without a mother and maybe called with baskets for the widow and motherless boy. Of course, part of that would be to be seen to be doing such charitable work - although she is actually well meaning.
His good sense of character and growing up in Del Fuego he probably knows the kind of gossipy person Enid Knox is like and I can imagine he might laugh or wince at the fate of poor ole Amos Knox putting up and being henpecked by Enid.
Sound like fun to plot with? Maybe I could open a thread for them in the store, he comes shopping?

Maybe he could meet Andraste? I don't know how they'd get along but I was thinking they could be friends? Andy is an outlaw so I'm sure she'd have a reason to go to the Gunnery. lol She isn't necessarily the crude, smart-mouthed type so I think they might get along. I don't have any good plot ideas at the moment. I'm half asleep. :3 Maybe we could just see how it goes? [/blockquote]

I feel like these two would have an interesting relationship. Lane is of course a dancer at the saloon, so she's a resident of the town. She'd probably recognize James and they could meet somehow outside of the saloon or possibly in it? I think they'd have an interesting friendship, and maybe more if things get... sparky.
