 CARL KOENIGthirty-five | male | straight | del fuego doctor | single | This suave and classy looking gentleman is Del Fuego's only practicing and educated doctor Carl Koenig. He's originally from Germany, born and raised there until the age of seven when his immigrant parents came to the United States of America. Carl is the only son and only child of his parents marriage. All of his extended family is still back in Germany. He's a very intelligent and an often serious man, who can come off as slightly distant and egotistical, he has pride and is often very outspoken in a curd manner. But he shows respect and kindness to those that will show it to him. Carl is very educated and it shows in the way he speaks and holds himself. He came to Del Fuego by accident really, he was traveling by train to a much larger city for a presentation when the train broke down and needed repair at Del Fuego's station. Wondering into town Carl saw the sick and ill and many people who just by appearance needed medical attention. Curious Carl asked a by-passer who told him there was no doctor. So Carl spoke to the Mayor and the local law enforcement and was hired. He's been living in Del Fuego for two years now. Carl will need friends and allies, and some nurses to work in his clinic. He'll need enemies and people that do not enjoy his company, and he'll need loves. Carl is not married and is currently looking for a fine woman to settle with, but not just any woman. So plot him up!

evangeline & carl [/b][/i] Okay, so I have Evangeline Redwood, who is the daughter of a former Confederate general. After the war, her father decided to get into horse breeding so he uprooted the family and moved them to Texas to start his business. Evan's a classy woman, one of taste, education, and refinement, but she's also a spitfire with a devil tongue.
I think she would like Carl because he, like she, is refined and well educated. She's missing the class of pre-war Georgia and needs someone that she share a taste with. She's also desperately single, and a terrible flirt, but also a terrible tease, and needs someone to settle her down. So friends, perhaps a love interest?

Such a respectable and civilised young man doing good work and like the Lord healing the sick - or so it would be in the eyes of Enid Knox. So she'll be an ally and I imagine she likes to think that with his status and money that he should come shop in her store where she can get him what she wants.
Arkken is liable to visit for his old bones.

Shawn had a bad nerve in his left eye that did not heal proper. That is his blind eye. The milky white eye. He wears a eye patch over it.
I gave him a side effect. This side effect is a real. My mom had a eye surgery. The doctor messed up. The nerve was damaged. Once awhile the nerve just make her left hand go death grip. I am not kidding when I say this. I had a fear of her left hand when she was alive. She had broken the hot water faucet off the sink. (The round oe that is screwed. She broke it in half by squeezing. It is the solid hard plastic) The man friend of my mother who was a plumber was puzzled.
She even had pulled a door of a hinge once too.
I always told her for fun. Mom shake my friends with your right hand, but please shake my enemies hand with your left hand.
I will have Shawn come to have him check it out.

evan and carl: I can totally see these two be formal friends/allies/social event conservationists. I can see Carl being very taken with her beauty, intelligence and slightly proud and "snob" behavior. I think these two will be good together.
enid and carl: I think these two could work well, I think Carl would just always be kind and respectful to Enid, and see her as a hard working woman and he'd defiantly buy supplies and other various things from her shop.
arkken and carl: These two would be epic, I can see Carl just telling Arkken to take it easy all the time etc, and he just grumbles like an old man haha.
shawn and carl: I can see these two as alot of fun, I can see Carl already knowing Shawn well, and trying to help him out in any way he can. |

Oh I like the idea of him scolding Arkken. And I can see Arkken getting quite a few pains and aches and injuries from starting a job on the Harte ranch.
And given Kydd's preponderance for getting into all manner of scrapes he'll like to have to visit the doc on occasion - from any fisticuffs with blokes mistaking his enthusiasm and happy go lucky nature for a cocky ego to slaps from innocently offended ladies on account of his poor choice of words and overall poor flirtation skills.
