After the fish came floating up from the water, he was glad he got them. He tucked the gun in his holster, grabbed for the two dead fish. This would last them for some time. He turned around to see she was gone. He knitted his eyebrows, he dropped the fish, pulled out his gun,, and he spotted her running away. He was smiling, she was out of his life. He ain't gonna see her again.
He looked down at the two trout. “That means more for me,” he said, licking his lips.

It wasn't until she was a good distance away that Tully finally calmed enough to realize that no one was trying to kill her...if he had been, she would be dead. In fact, he hadn't even touched her although the opportunity had been there.
Sighing, she stopped to catch her breath, then shook her head. Well, she wouldn't go back now, he'd just laugh at her.
Maybe she'd run into him in town....she didn't even know his name...
