James stopped on the wooden porch with Brian; Brian was a puppy sheep dog. He was adorable. James slowly turned around to see a man across the street watching him. James was twelve years old, he was a smart boy, he knew that this man was watching him. He pretended that he did not see the man, so he continued to walk in a store. The store he walked in was the general store. He looked around the store, and he saw the candy on the counter. That was a good reason to be in the store. He bought two handfuls of sweets for a nickle. That was all lot. The owner stuffed the candy in a paper brown bag. It was time to go outside. He prayed that the man was not going to be near by. Brian was on sniffing around as James came walking out of the store. The man across the street was staring at his direction. “Brian, we are in trouble, come on boy,” he said. The boy turned to walk down the street, he walked by two three buildings. He looked in a window of a store. There was the man following him. He turned to run, the man decided to move quickly, but he was not going to run after the boy. He was doing bad a job of shadowing. The man never had a clue on how to do it. James shot around the corner, trying to hide from the man.
