Weldon's downfall

[Weldon Campbell]

It has always been the endgame with Weldon that he would meet a grisly end. It seems timely now to bring that end about - but just how and who will be a part of it and who might be an innocent bystander caught up in the fallout.

Given that Duke's business has been burned to the ground as plotted hereofthefire1.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=plots&action=display&thread=2628 it seems that Weldon might use this as an opportunity to flex his muscle.

There's also been a plot in the background with Rio about how Weldon was secretly the man that brought about her parents' death and stole their farm.

Jonah Arkken also had his farm taken by shady deals and pressures designed by Weldon and Jonah returned to Del Fuego with the intention of seeking revenge on the man.

But who else might have cause to get caught up in these troubles, have ill feeling towards Weldon or simply gets caught up in events somehow? Or might someone target Weldon just as an opportunistic hit for money or otherwise.

If you want in plot here and then we can work towards threading the story out.

Weldon is such a power and fun character I hate to see him go so please consider this.

Instead of killing Weldon off perhaps his first cousin, Angus Campbell from Ireland can take over for him while Weldon goes away or goes back to visit his dying mother in Ireland or whatever reason you can think of. That leaves it open for him to return at a later date.

I hope you will consider that.

Hmm, Weldon strikes me as more the type who never had a mother or who would only rush back to her bedside to smother her with a pillow.

Nah, the big guy is gonna meet his maker - but I love the idea of his cousin coming onto the scene to steal ahem take over his little empire. Perhaps his cousin shows up trying to make a move, muscle in on the action and Weldon doesn't want to bite and cue maybe Angus wanting to kill him.

(or we can Dallas it style - kill him but there's no body ... )

I was hoping to make a copy cat type out law base off Ben Wade from 3:10 using Russell Crowe.

He be glad to take Weldon out for a revenge or something from the past.

Rio would honestly love to be the one who killed him.

She has the motive to do it, and she's violent and volatile enough to get it done. She'll want him to suffer, so he can meet his maker however you choose, because she'll do whatever.

It's obviously completely up to you though!

I think it only fitting that it is Rio that actually gets to kill him. Justice and natural course of things really and I'd only be too happy for it to be her (just didn't want to presume though). However, I think it will be fun to have quite a few out planning for his death but in the end it is the girl whose family he killed that gets to bring him down.

Now to get planning how this is going to come about. Yay, looking forward to this.

Oh and Angus - we should work on introducing your character and his take over of Weldon's business interests.

I would agree about Rio being the one to do it. She seems the most logical one to do it. I know at one time you had though about having Weldon plotting to take Evan's family farm. If she were to find out, it would definitely bristle her to no end, and Evan will be happy to be the one to set up his death without getting her hands dirty herself. So if you would like for her to find out and tell Rio about Weldon's involvement in her parent's death, I'm game.
